This antenna requires a special adapter in order to properly link with the North American Radio. If you are looking to simply add a great Carbon Fiber Look and Detail to your 500 this is a great option. If you are looking to also use this antenna as a way to get reception you may have difficulty obtaining a proper adaptor that will allow you to plug this replacement antenna in to your existing radio antenna wire.
