What type of materials are used in the production of the MADNESS Autoworks Exhaust Systems?

T304 Stainless Steel is used in manufacturing this exhaust system.

T304 stainless steel is the top-shelf exhaust material. It will not oxidize or rust, it will develop a golden color when exposed to high heat over time. T304 stainless steel has the highest nickel and chromium concentration and offers the best resistance to rust and corrosion.

Why we do not use T409 Stainless Steel like some other manufacturers?

T409 Stainless Steel has a fair amount of ferrous material in it and can show surface rust after some time, especially when exposed to road salt. T409 is less expensive than T304 Stainless Steel. We only use T304 Stainless Steel in the production of our MADNESS Exhaust Systems.

Why is TIG Welding better than other welding methods?

TIG welding is known for its precision, making it ideal for intricate exhaust designs where precise, small welds are needed. The TIG process provides high-quality, clean welds that are crucial for applications demanding durability, such as automotive exhaust systems.

What is the warranty on this exhaust system?

MADNESS Autoworks warranties their exhaust systems for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed.

This warranty does not apply to any exhaust system which has been improperly installed, altered, or subjected to misuse or damage from accidents. Any cost of labor and any additional parts required to complete installation of a replacement product are not covered by this warranty.

Custom Exhaust Tips may show discoloration over time due to heat. This is considered normal wear and tear and is not covered under warranty.

No other warranty, expressed or implied (including merchantability), applies to the exhaust system, nor is any person or the manufacturer authorized to assume any other warranty. The manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for any consequential damages occurred by the exhaust system, or inconvenience or interruption in any operation.
