Top speed & battery temperature
Full top speed is a matter of battery temperature, not software. Full power is available from approximately 59 °F. When cold, you’ll start a bit slower, but once the battery is warm you’ll will get your Topolino up to 50 mph*. 

Range & consumption
With normal driving, consumption remains practically the same. You end up driving more relaxed because you’re no longer driving at the limit. Those who drive at full throttle continuously will naturally use more power and have less range as with any EV.

Reliability  
The new ECU is designed to stay within safe limits for the motor, controller, and battery. No extreme settings that overload components.
